Fourteen kinds of equipment, one maintenance record.

ESS maintains, repairs and installs the electrical and mechanical systems of large and medium commercial and industrial buildings across Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Here they are, grouped the way they sit in a building. If you already know what you need, send us the details.

A red square marks the systems a building has to be able to rely on in an emergency.

The ones that cannot wait

When the power is out and the building is full, these three decide how the day goes.

A red split-case fire pump and motor on a steel skid with red standpipe risers and pressure gauges

Fire alarms and fire pumps

The two systems a building is required to trust in a fire: the alarm panel that detects and calls it, and the pump that holds pressure in the standpipes.

Fire systems fail quietly. A trouble signal stays latched, the backup battery in the panel dies, a pump controller is left in manual. Nobody notices until the day the system is needed.

Security cameras and access control

Cameras, door and vehicle access, tele-entry and intercoms: the electronic security that decides who gets into the building and records what happens there.

A camera can stop recording, a card reader can drop offline, a gate operator can stall. The usual discovery is the moment someone asks for the footage.

The same visit, whatever is on the pad.

Fire pump or door reader, the work follows one pattern, because the point is the same: fewer failures, shorter downtime, less money lost.

Inspect and test
Trained engineers and technicians check the condition of the electrical and mechanical equipment with modern testing technology, then analyze the information they collected.
Report
Each evaluation ends in a complete, detailed report: what was found, and recommendations to improve operations, reduce energy consumption and extend equipment life.
Records between visits
Every service goes into an electronic record, so the condition of each piece of equipment can be tracked from one inspection to the next. Those records are always available to you.
Repairs
When something needs fixing, repairs are delivered on tight deadlines. The aim of the whole programme is fewer repairs and fewer interruptions to the building.
Installation
ESS installs the systems on this page as well as maintaining and repairing them.
Emergencies
An emergency, an equipment failure or a natural disaster: the line is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

For planned work, tell us what the building runs on and when it was last looked at. We will set up an inspection and a maintenance plan around it.
